Do I need to install anything?
No. Wellcom simply works in your browser, so you can watch along straight away and try it yourself right away.
Which microphone do I need?
To get started, the microphone of your laptop or headset is enough. In the consulting room we recommend a desk microphone with noise suppression, such as the Beyerdynamic Space, which picks up the whole conversation. With an annual subscription at practice or organisation level we supply these microphones; with a shorter subscription you get them on loan.
Can I still edit the text afterwards?
Always. You read through the report and change whatever you want, directly in the portal. Nothing goes into the record until you have approved it.
Does Wellcom also work during home visits?
Yes. Wellcom also works on your phone, so you can simply document on location. You then pick up the conversation again on your laptop to finish the report.
