Wellcom passes new security test
Wellcom had its application independently tested by SecDesk. The penetration test resulted in a low overall risk rating, with no vulnerabilities of medium, high or critical risk.
Wellcom has undergone a new security test, known as a penetration test (pentest), and has passed it.
The test was carried out independently by SecDesk, a specialist cybersecurity company. In a pentest, testers deliberately try to break into our systems in the same way someone with malicious intent would. SecDesk examined our application for possible vulnerabilities and for its resilience against cyberattacks.
The assessment used the Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS v3.1): an internationally recognised method for classifying the severity of vulnerabilities, based on factors such as the potential impact and how technically feasible exploitation is.
The result: a low overall risk rating. No vulnerabilities with a medium, high or critical risk level were found.
What is said in the consulting room should stay there. That is why we do not just have our security certified, but also actively put it to the test, and we keep improving our measures. This pentest comes on top of our ISO 27001:2022 and NEN 7510:2024 certification.
