The technology is there: AI listens in, writes the report and you check it. What is often missing is the path from an enthusiastic pilot to an established way of working. For that, we now have our implementation guide: From pilot to practice (Van pilot naar praktijk, in Dutch).
The guide brings together what we have learned in practice, honestly, including the pilots that did not go ahead. It describes one route in six phases:
- Choosing a direction: a clearly defined problem, a decision-maker at the table and a strong team.
- A secure foundation: GDPR and DPIA, quality marks, the AI Act and the MDR.
- Tailoring: templates, the integration, the workflow and the environment.
- Starting small: pilot canvas, ambassadors, measurement plan and a fixed rhythm.
- Evaluating and deciding: honest evaluation, the business case and a real decision.
- Scaling up and embedding: contract, roll-out in waves and an owner in line management.
You will also find ten questions to ask your supplier, a go/no-go model and a checklist to get started. The guide is written for project leaders, practice owners and practice managers, executives and team managers, and colleagues in IT, systems management and privacy.
