Our CMIO Fabian Pusceddu presented at the conference of the Vereniging Chirurgie voor Medisch Studenten (VCMS), the surgery association for medical students, on voice-driven documentation and the safe use of generative AI in healthcare: how it translates into practice, which applications exist in the medical field, and how we make sure it is not only smart, but also safe and reliable for patient and healthcare professional alike.
Lecture on AI in medicine at VU Amsterdam. Our CTO Thijs Rood gave his first lecture on AI in medicine at VU Amsterdam. The new curriculum shows how important AI is becoming for the doctors of the future.
Article in the Amsterdam Medical Student Journal. The AMSj published an article by Fabian: Wellcom Translation: Artificial Intelligence to Bridge Language Barriers within Healthcare. It describes how AI-assisted translation and documentation make communication in healthcare more accessible, especially for patients who are less fluent in the language.
We notice that the topic raises a lot of questions, but also a lot of enthusiasm. The more often we talk about AI in healthcare, the better we learn together what really works in practice.
