Looking back at the Bedrijfsgeneeskundige Dagen

Voice-driven documentation was a hot topic at the NVAB’s BG-dagen. This is what we heard from occupational physicians and occupational health services.

On 22 May we were at stand 1 at the Bedrijfsgeneeskundige Dagen, the occupational health days of the Netherlands Society of Occupational Medicine (NVAB), with live demos of ScribeChat and TolkChat and talking with occupational physicians, occupational health services and other professionals in occupational medicine. One thing became clear straight away: AI and voice-driven documentation were a much-discussed topic.

Voice-driven documentation is increasingly seen as a workable solution to the growing administrative burden on occupational physicians and the complexity of documentation at occupational health services.

What we heard often:

  • The growing attention for safe AI applications in occupational medicine
  • The need for less administrative pressure on occupational physicians
  • The wish to make documentation more uniform for record-keeping towards clients and employers
  • The great importance of security and privacy

It was great to see how many people wanted to get to know us. During the BG-dagen, many new trial periods were started to try out the platform in practice.

Thanks to everyone who came by for the conversations, questions and insights. Want to get started yourself? See what Wellcom does for occupational health services.
